背痛是最常見的醫學問題其中之一。它的範圍可以從隱隱作痛,持續的疼痛到突然的劇烈疼痛。背痛的成因可能來自意外,跌倒,舉起重物,老化或醫療狀況。痛楚可以持續幾天甚至幾個月。

如果您有嚴重的背痛,而且三天後仍未改善,請致電聯絡您的醫療保健提供者。假若意外受傷後感到背痛,您更應該尋求醫療護理。背部疼痛的治療方法視乎於您的疼痛類型,以及引起疼痛的成因。它包括熱敷或冷敷,運動,藥物,注射劑,有時還包括手術等等。
您亦可以採取一些措施來改善健康狀況,並減低可能發展長期背痛的機會。

Back pain is one of the most common medical problems. It can range from a dull, constant ache to sudden, sharp pain. Back pain can come from an accident, a fall, lifting something heavy, aging, or a medical condition. It can last for a few days to months.

Call your health care provider if you have severe back pain and doesn't improve after three days. You should also get medical attention if you experience back pain after an injury. Treatment for back pain depends on what kind of pain you have, and what is causing it. It may include hot or cold packs, exercise, medicines, injections, and sometimes surgery.
You can do things to improve your health and lower your chance of developing long-lasting back pain.
